888PL Introduces a New Partnership....
The 888Poker League is thrilled to announce that the team from Mistress Poker will soon be creating an exclusive range of gear for our players and the first time you will see it is at the 888PL Grand Final in August!
We know that poker gear is an important part of any league and we saw that so many of our players had embraced the Mistress Poker brand so we thought why not join forces and bring two great brands together.
In case you haven't encountered the guys from Mistress Poker yet, we asked them a little about the story of how it all came together.
Mistress Poker was conceived 12 months ago by founder, old-man daryl Westley, on the premise that poker was indeed his mistress. He referred to poker as "the other woman", as it consumed a great deal of his time and was something he thought about constantly when he wasn't playing.
After a conversation with friend and web developer, David Murrin, about Mistress Poker, the domain name was secured and Mistress Poker was born. Along the way we have collected a few other poker 'experts' to help make Mistress Poker a success. David's brother Scott was brought on board and following soon after was the 888Poker League's own Nathan Butler. We have recently signed 2 other poker guru's to help make the brand amazing and they will be revealed to the world shortly.
Over the past 12 months Mistress Poker has evolved from a small seed of an idea in to the world's newest poker brand. We have also recently joined forces with the 888Poker League to help enhance the average pub poker player's enjoyment while playing the game we all love.
Mistress Poker will be enjoying a semi launch at the 2010 Season One 888PL Grand Final. We'll be offering some great Mistress Poker clothing to the 888PL faithful, including awesome T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Hoodies and Hats.
And we'll be trying our best to make the Welcome Party something to remember. We'll have our own competitions and other cool things to keep you involved and having fun. So make sure you come up and say hi! And good luck to everyone who has qualified!
