Yeah, I understand that...
But I also thought the routing logic employed on the net would reroute if one link failed?
It does on a LAN, so I figured it would on the net to?
But networking isnt my area of expertise, so is this assumption incorrect?
From other posts you seem to be more knowledgable in this area...

Yes, it does - but it's all to do with your ISP and if they've mitigated risk.
