Cazz, the simplest difference between the 2 is that for a SNG to even start it must have the exact amount of runners present.
eg: 45 player SNG won't start until there are 45 runners. No more, no less.
An MTT might have an absolute minimum and/or an absolute maximum number of runners but anywhere inbetween is fine and the payout structure will have set boundaries depending on how many runners there actually are.
