Yeah me and krunchie normally wait till the break now before discussing hands, as other people were starting to take notice. we know each other too well. (im off tilt after that massive hand too mate. you outplayed me, made the correct read and profited handsomly. just annoyed me that i read you well, thought i played my hand perfectly to get a laydown, but still didnt profit lol you were too good sir)

thats right, i had it slightly wrong
the reason i thought you were fos is because, in my experience, against a passive player, you very very rarely check the flop and then bet the turn for value. if you had any piece of the board, you would have fired the flop against a player that is rarely going to raise you with draw type hands. it was an ace high all diamonds flop and a Q turn i think (correct me if i am wrong again), and AQ and QQ weren't really in your range, so that left raggedy Q high 2 pair type hands as the only hands in your value range, and the rest were bluffs or semi bluffs with mid diamond type hands that you didn't want to lead the flop with.
i am not saying your line is wrong, i mean its exactly what i would have done against that player, who was passive and would only really play his own cards, its just that i thought it was pretty obvious you didn't have much
but then again, if i was the other player in this hand, your line could mean something completely different, and you would check a made flush, set, or even 2 pair to me a lot of the time if you thought i would bet at it.
You'll have to remember I limped UTG/flatted his raise pre. That brings into play all sorts of suited hands (which I in fact had) so I think I would definitely play a flopped flush this way, seeing as the board fell with an Ace and I would expect him to fire them.
The only reason I planned on firing the river was how he reacted to my bet on the turn. He took ages to call, practically threw his hand into the muck at one point, then sigh called. I knew he wouldn't call another barrel on the river.
