I would be calling the raise of the c-bet and then check-raising the turn in both situations. I dont believe that he called my pf bet with any of those cards, and if had a big wired pair then he was re-raising me pre-flop also.
Remember, he would also be worried about tangling with the other big stack on the table also. Check-raising the turn makes your bet on the flop look like much more than a c-bet.
