Pissed off Bob... no mate... you got it wrong once again. Just a little annoyed that people were complaining there was no list less than 24 hours after the end of the season.

Thanks a lot Des. I and my fellow punters were more than happy with just receiving the text to say we were in the finals. The fact that I once again for the second season in a row had the gall to ask if there was a list was so thoughtless of me!!!!!

Mate, I have lots of time on my hands and I'm more than happy to explain my reasons for both queeries regarding last season and the previous season.

You see at the end of season one 08, I didn't play the last week as I was holidaying in Melbourne. However, before I left I roughly worked it out by cross checking the players above and below me as to where they were in other venues and or the top 50.

I actually thought I would miss out by less than 10 points because I would miss the last game of the season. If you recall when I returned I and many other punters tried to access the NPL site to see where they had finished but the information was not available.

Yes, I did ask if there was a finalist sheet as I had been away. And after receiving a similar retort from yourself I actually PM'd Garth who had later confirmed I had just scraped in.

This week I actually thought that someone had made a mistake by sending me a text saying I had qualified. I thought it was one of my poker mates playing funny buggers with me. I couldn't believe it so I once again attempted to access my points on the NPL site for last season.

I realised it would only be at the Flying Club but I was way down in 13th place and I would need at least 8 punters to qualify via the top 50 or higher at another venue. Well It must have been a miracle and it's too damned hard to cross check now.

So, now my dear friend Des. Can you see why I was so curious to see if it was genuine or a major mistake on someones part? No big deal, just a need to know situation on my behalf and a misunderstanding on yours regarding my reasons for inquiring about the results of both seasons.

By the way if you read my above reply to Des you'll see that I did very little to make the finals. Other than playing with some really great players at the Flying Club who hit a lot more tables than me.
