I don't see why everyone is taking the "free pub poker - dumb, big money tournament - ok" approach. If you're aiming to do your best in both, and for whatever reason's sunglasses help... what's the difference? It shouldn't matter what stakes you're playing at if you are legitimately trying to do well and win.

Probably because the average pub player isn't trying to pick up subtle facial tells.

If you just feel comfortable wearing them then go for it I says.
We've how about links I would like to know I walk the line scrunches line at how the client Lawrence etc. etc.

I looked around saw one guy still had his cards and as I looked up he was looking at me and I flinched LOL He called but lucky for me I hit the flop then the turn - I think I had J4o

i just put my hands on my face and stare directly at the board and do not move until they make their move.

if you dont look at them, then they can't stare you down!

OK, I'll say it so you can understand this time.

If you wear sunnies at a free roll of any description, you are ghey.

If you wear them at any tourny for any amount of monies, you are ghey.

If you are super dooper rich and won all your monies from playing poker, you can wear sunglasses at the table, but make no mistake, you are still ghey.

Sunglasses are for keeping the harsh glare and light projected from our closest star into your eyes.

Allow me to give you an example of when to use sunglasses.

in the bright lights of Television cameras and some venues sunglasses help comfort your eyes and prevent eye stain if you are fortunate and skillful enough to last deep into an Tournament.

in the Pub Poker events till they change the colour of the chips they seem a waste of time...

online if you wear them i'm afraid your playing the wrong game /s and adjusting your webcam or video camera would be more benificial ;)

Expected better from you.

In saying that, I'm sure you'd wish you had glasses on in these shots!

I wear them because they keep me in my little bubble and it means no-one can see me at all. Im invisible!

Seriously tho, when you think im looking at my cards, im watching you! When the flop is being dealt and my head is looking down, im watching players reaction to the flop. This is the only reason i wear sunnies. 8-) (and for my private bubble experience) :ugeek:
