could you please explain the meaning behind the poker term "thin value", and if posible put it into context with an example
ie what is betting for thin value and here is an example of it
maybe in an later show. as you know, this is a relatively advanced concept, and i dont think we will launch into this type of stuff just yet. but in the future we definitely will.
if you have anything to ask specifically about deep stacked play, then we will ask this.

Re: The Rail Episode 3 - Questions for our guests.
Ok a few questions from me. I am not really in poker head today so hope they make sense
Do you research players on your table if you have advance knowledge of your starting table?
How do you go about this?
How long does it take you to assign a level of skill and or play style of the players at your table when sitting at a new table?(assuming no prior knowledge of the players on your table)
What methods do you use to do this? ( generalized not specific do not want you to give away any secrets)
How do you change gears to adjust to the different styles?
Do you usually go in with a game plan prior to the game? ( ie plan to play tight to first break or play more hands while the blinds are low.)
Do you have a plan b, c, d and e even that takes into account different scenarios that may occur?
How do you manage tilt after loosing a big pot a/ when it is a cooler and b/ when you know you have played the hand badly?
How do you stop it going to your head and maintain your stack if you find yourself big stack early?
If you could ask advice from a pro who would it be and what would the first question?

Re: The Rail Episode 3 - Questions for our guests.
How do you change your play in response to having a deeper stack?
Some people say - 'hey i have more chips, i can wait longer before im blinded out'
Some say - 'hey i have more chips, i can play more aggressively and play more pots without continually risking my tournament life'
Others say - 'ill play exactly the same as i usually do'
Also, can we profitably: set mine more, call 3-bets more, limp or raise with speculative hands more. Obviously our implied odds are higher with a deepstack (maybe its a chance to explain this to the general pub poker player), but how much of an adjustment should we make?

Now that is a great question and one I look forward to getting an answer to.
