I think dealers choice PLO/nlhe would be the way to go. 8 game would be fun but I doubt enough people would wanna play it

if you are doing any plo/HE rotation, its way better done in orbits, or time, proper HA style.

I think many of us probably struggle with the rules of stud games. Not how to play them obviously, but i would struggle with thinkgs like bring-ins etc etc (i haz no ideaz on that). But for the flop based games it would work. Could always run a dealers choice with HE, PLO, PLOHi/Lo and Crazy Pineapple or something similar. Everybody knows how to play those games easily.

But i reckon a simple orbit of HE / Orbit of PLO (or even just a dedicated PLO table) would be great.

Yeah, 8 mixed game won't be happening. You guys have a hard enough time convincing me to play PLO.

Murrins - would you guys be in for 8 game?

NLHE bores me in cash mode and playing against loose hyper "any pair is good" or nut peddlers just drives me slightly insane.

PLO is just an action game with very little psychology behind the play.

I would like to play a game where the field is -EV for once and look to mix it up with some stud variants.

I know I could not last playing NLHE for 24 hours straight before I started going insane.

i agree garth, definitely not NLHE for the whole time.

if people told me that it was going to be 8 game, i would spend the next month trying to get better in those games.

yeah, dealing and when to pay the bringins etc would take a while to get used to.

would definitely be good to have a proper dealer for that bit

Yeah this is what i was getting at before. It gets harder in a live setting. HA would be sick though.

any type of blind and flop game would be easy enough, because we are all used to dealing those games.

and chopping down the pot would be easy for most of us
