I've smashed pocket Qs and AK off suit, in the same hand. Friend has smashed pocket Js with it. I love 10 3. Saying that...

I would not call anymore than 2x the BB with 10 3 off suit.

Pocket 7s for me. Have managed to wipe out half a table with those puppies on more than one occasion. Not my fault they dont hit!

K7 is also a hand I'll play strongly given the right circumstances and position. It's rubbish, but with the right amount of aggression it can work...

with 2 outs to hit, you have a 12.24% chance of hitting trips on the flop, rising to 20.85% of hitting trips if you follow through to the river.

so if this your idea of almost always, then fair enough

fair enough man, everyone has their fav hand that they have to play. mine is 10J of spades, and sometimes i will even call raises with it, and i have had some memorable wins with it.

Fair enough, but as benny the cunt said, you've only got a 20% chance of hitting trips on the board. So you won't "always" hit.

Its funny, ever since I declared 10 3 was one of my favourite hands, I notice it popping up in just about EVERY FLOP. And I'm not talking about a lone 3 or 10, most of the time its 10, 3, K, etc.

Of course if you started taking notice like that with every odd combination you'd be having a heart attack every flop.

But I swear it came on the flop at least 6 times last night. Crazy.

Course it never hits when I'm holding it.

I'm sure there is a technical term for it, but you only every remember the unexpected outcomes. AA takes down a race - thats not very memorable, 22 cracks AA - now that you do remember.
