Someone almost got me to **muck** my cards again after i bet
Spelling error on subject, my spelling is good

Wow this was close, i was ahead of course since i hit top pair, i bet, she said the pot is yours, i lift my cards in the air to prepare for a toss, n then i remember last time i took someones comments as a fold when they actually havent...so before i toss my cards, i ask...so are u folding, she said yeah then tossed her cards in...sneaky, so thats twice someone as pretty much indicated they are gonna fold, but didnt actually, lucky i learnt from my first lesson that not to chuck in ur cards n take the pot until they say "FOLD"...

I'm not a fan of that. Just fold!

Yeah, as i said i learnt the first time, to either wait for them to much or say "FOLD" ...not gonna rely on, the pots yours, something that semi indicates a fold but doesnt

I dunno the ruling, but if that happened on my table, I'd have the TD over saying "she indicated a fold" and I'd back you up 100% if she tried to take the pot.

I've heard TD's say that moving the cards towards the pot, as if to muck, is considered a muck, even if they don't touch the muck. In that, the cards have to have moved forward from their original point, because the player might be moving their cards in an attempt to get a read on you.

I reckon the point of no return should be when the cards have been moved toward the muck and the player has let go of the cards. Much like chess - you can move the pieces around, but until you have actually let go of them the action is not complete.

That said, if someone says "you can take it" or similar they have in my mind folded.

Easiest way to avoid this is to get into the habit of waiting until you have received the pot until you muck (or show) your cards. That way things like this cant happen.

i was on the table at the time

honi was just shaking her head and she then said "its yours," but took a little while to throw her cards.

there was no malice intended, but shaun was just being extra careful as he got stung the other week when AK said "i think you've got nothing" while shaking his head, and shaun took this as AK intending to fold, so shaun threw his cards face up into the muck.

he just didn't wanna do this again - well done shaun, you learn't this time

i didnt take his "i think you've got nothing" as a fold...before he said that i took his "i havent hit" as a fold..."i think you've got nothing" when he said this, since i thought he was folding i thought i would show what i "Didnt hit"
