As most of you are aware some of us played a second game after the freeroll last sunday at Parafield Gardens.
I Played on 3 tables for the night including the final table so i played approx 20-25 of the 100 runners for the night.
During this time, a nice young fella by the Name of Duc, stood out as by far the best player at the venue, and I had a lot of fun playing him that night.
Turns out he is currently heading up the state leader board.
So good luck duc for the rest of the season I hope you can hang on and collect that cash.
Incidentally he made an unbeliveable read on me late in the game when i Minraised from the button preflop with pocket kings. A drunken idiot was telling Duc to call due to me just position betting, which is what i was hoping.
Duc looked at me for a minute and anounced to the table that he fold's due to me holding big pockets. There was already a all in undercaller, so you should have seen that drunken idiots face when i rolled Kings.
Id love to know how you could tell that mate.
I played our current state leader.

Re: I played our current state leader.
Hey krunchie,
Yeah, I have played Duc a few times and yes he is a great at reading people and also a good player. I am currently in the top 10 and he is my biggest competition. Its funny that last week at PGCC, with only 14 runners left, I took a lot of his chips and he was under the gun with only 2K left (blinds were 3K, 6K). I got dealt pocket queens and was debating whether to go all knowing that if I folded, he would be BB next and would most likely be knocked out. I decided to go all in with my pocket queens and lost to a flush, only to see Duc win his BB and go dominate on the final table......lol......I wish him all the best in the state leaderboard and I hope we can be heads up on the final table one day

Yes I did play at the PGCC late game, I ended up 13th as my QQ got done by a flush on the river. Which table were u sitting at? I started off at the table 2nd in from the stage on the right and then got moved to Ducs table which was at the time the table closest to the bar on the left side (with only 2 tables left). R u a regular there? I have been there a few times, I dont mind the place actually, cheap food and good amount of runners there. Will you be there on Sun again?

Well there you go,
nice to meetyou Kentishgirl, you were sitting, directly on my right on that last table before final table. I dont think from memory that we had much play between us.
I was the bloke that had Ace 8 for 2 pair and saw that fella get runner runner jacks on the turn and river on his all in blind, from memory you mentioned that i should be upset about it, but i wasnt all that concerned i didnt loose any money in the pot, due to a side pot covering my loss.
No i am not a local, we were passing through on our way back to the riverland after the forum event earlier that day, and no i wont be playing there 2 often due to distance.
Yea seemed like a nice enough venue, the meals were nice and great value and if your looking for points then the solid starting numbers would make it atractive place to play.
