just thought id get others comments on the 888 software.

my opinion is that the basic funcitonality is there, but it just isn't up to the standard of other sites like tilt and stars

just little things like why when u use the scroll wheel to change the bet size, it goes up in amounts of 1 chip!!! instead of a bb amount. that makes it very very hard to play quickly and without fuss. also, it doesnt beep when its your turn to act when you are multi tabling

with the software, is there going to be a special NPL skin or is it just going to be integrated into normal software.

how will the NPL games be found on the site? just in the restricted section of tournaments?

It feels like they grabbed the first poker software that was made when the internet was created and haven't updated it since.

The bad things I've heard about the 888 software is what keeps me at Stars.

not sure how much that will close the gap but its sure to help

Is there still no find a player feature?

Even if they update it to the standard level of other sites, it'll still be as ugly as sin.

Who thought IE was the best platform to build poker software on? It isn't even the best platform to build a browser on?

Here's hoping the upgrade is worthy of the PL part of 888PL

Money Transfer

You now have the option to transfer funds from your bankroll, into the bankroll of another player direct from the lobby.

Just log in, open My Profile on the menu item, select Money Transfer, enter the username and amount and then start giving away your money to whom you please!

Save your Hand History

Save your played hands in text files so you can enjoy or brood over them later. Alternatively, import them into hand analysis tools to try and improve your game.

Just go to settings -> Hand History and enable the hand history feature.

Enhanced game control

Take more control over your game:

Larger buttons will now make it easier to choose your action.
Hot keys will make it quicker to take your action:
F5 - will fold your hand
F6 - will check/call
F7 - will Bet/Raise
Enter your betting amount (In NL and PL games), press Enter and the software will instantly place your bet.

Show bluffed hand

With the new "Show Hand" feature that allows you to reveal your bluffed hands, you can now make everyone fold to your 7-2 off suite and rub it in their face.

Simply uncheck the "Never show hand" box on the table and the following options will be available for you once if everyone folds to your monster hand.

Are you one of those people that thinks Firefox is better because of the ad blocker which is an add-on and not actually part of Firefox?
