Home Tables

Postby mr_niceguy_1979 » Tue Jan 29, 2008 3:38 pm

Hi there, I'm interested in buying a poker table (the ones with cup holders) and was wondering what a good price would be and where I could get one from? how much do the NPL style tables sell for?

Cheers

IMHO, the range of tables available out there are pretty crappy.
something like the NPL tables go for around 150-200 bucks.

a decent one is gonna cost you 600+ and probably a lot more too.

If you have some basic woodworking skills, build your own! mine cost around 300 (i know bruce, another plug for my table, but i love it so much!)

check the thread on make your own poker table for details.

I'm far too lazy to make my own, so I bought one off ebay. Cost me a little over $200 incl postage from WA. It's a 10 seater so usually suffices for the odd home game.

Folds in half so I can theoretically put it away somewhere and I'm pleasantly surprised that the part where it folds isn't an inconvenience when playing.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Not in the slightest. I actually thought that we'd see a lot more turned over cards with that crack in the middle but I dont think it's even caused one.

True....
Mind you if we were dealing cards on Pete's back and you were sitting at the "rear" end ...

Well, the crack would have more play...

Are u still looking for a table or have u invested in one already? I did some research and bought a brand new one on ebay. Cost me around $220 (inc post). Its a 10 seater with cup holders. It doesnt fold in half but the legs fold up so it does go flat for when not in use. We are VERY happy with. There are lots on ebay ranging in price up to almost $1000.
