Had a great discussion on the topic last week, thought i might open it up to the forum.
This is all based on personal experiences
Respect - what levels of respect do you find are in play during live 888pl games? What type of respect do you give players and how do you change your play when against these players.
Opponent Perception - How does your game change depending on how your opponent views you?
For me because i play at only the 1 venue regularly i have built up a good respect with the other regulars there. While the respect is there amongst the regulars any players who come for the first time or only rarely dont command the same nor give any.
I try not to change my game too much for different levels of respect, but know that my calling range must be a bit more loose against players with no respect.

Re: Respect and opponents perception
I play at the same venue evey week (well most weeks). I know alot of the players and have played with them for the last year & half. I definately have a varying level of respect for different people. In return I get a lot of respect from other players becasue I have done well when it comes to poker.
When I go and play a tournament outside of 888pl (say @ Crown), it's very very different. I get no respect at all, pretty sure this is because I am a female. But I don't mind this, as I am able to use it to my advantage at times.
