I think this is a revolutionary idea for online gaming and something that should be considered for real play.

Discuss?

not sure i like this.

most of us on here have no problems with our real names etc being out there, but some people use the internet to create a persona for themselves that is very different from their real lives.

im sure there are many socially awkward people out there that are internet celebs in their own subculture (be it WoW or starcraft or online poker)

i dont really think it will stop multi accounting or anything in online poker either - just as easy to play under a fake name.

the solution to stopping flame wars on forums etc is to have effective moderators like the awesome ones we have here

Won't be able to hide all those online losses if that is the case, or they'd have to stop sites like PTR and OPR reporting results - too much information around personal activities really.
