My dream is becoming realised.

I thought I would share this with you guys as I am really excited about my non 888PL side project at this time.
It has always been a goal of mine to legitimise the pub poker industry and to formulate a self governing accord as well as a tribunal to handle all operators/player complaints.
In recent weeks on another forum that I frequent I finally put my foot down and decided to move forward with my idea and posts:
http://www.pokernetwork.com/forums/home-club-games/23902-attention-all-pub-poker-providers-managers-employees.html
I now have a conglomerate of providers willing to form this accord and industry body and I have poker players willing to support it wholeheartedly. I have a special Australian, well known, poker player willing to chair the first meeting we ever have.
I am pretty pumped about this for reasons that might not be apparent to you, as a player:
*it begins to legitimise the pub poker industry as a sector of the gaming/entertainment industry and will no longer be seeing as a"fad" or short term product
* adds credence to the fact that pub poker leagues can hold legitimite tournaments on par with casinos
* instigates national operational, advertising and competition guidelines.
* give players another avenue to voice their concerns and complaints to a governing body rather than to the managers of the providers their grievance is with.
* allows operators to take their grievances with other operators to a governing body without the need to publicly slander each other.
* forms a nationally accredited training program for all TD's
*strict rules and guidelines for prize pool distribution - complete transparency for players and no perception of "shady" goings-on.
* gives the stamp of approval to providers allowing consumers to know that they are protected by Accord STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE and PROMISE TO PLAYERS.
So anyways, as players I thought you should be the first to know that this is something I have long dreamed of and am hoping to have formed within the year.
What do you think?
