really annoyed me the other night, was sitting at a table with a guy who was coming out with some great comments like 'yeah i always play pocket 9's, they hit trips more than tens or jacks', 'yeah clubs always hit flushes, always' and 'ive only ever lost 5 times with 2 7, and i win way more times than i lose' and 'there is more of a chance of making your 5th card for a flush on the turn (he quoted 31.5%) than on the river'. he didnt realise that the 30 odd percent for your flush was if you saw both turn and river, and that if you look at the turn and river separately there is actually more of a chance of hitting your flush on the river as there is one less card in the deck.
also said that he had read the npl's brand new 380 page rule book (has anyone seen it?) even after i had said, didnt the new rules come out on the forum a week or two ago and its only 50 or so pages long???
anyway, ive had my beef (he didnt knock me out by the way)
happy pokering
