Shane Warne Super Stack is HERE!

888Poker is pleased to introduce the Shane Warne Super Stack event; a great value poker tournament that will be held in the home of Australian poker the Crown Casino Poker Room. This event will be open to all Crown players and satellites will be held exclusively on 888Poker to Australian and New Zealand residents.


The Shane Warne Super stack will be a repechage event with two Day one’s, play will commence with a 30,000 start bank and blinds set at 30 minutes. This buy in for this event is set at a very inexpensive AU$300 ($260 + 40) the unique repechage format allows players who bust in Day 1a the opportunity to have a second chance by buying into Day 1b.


This event will be held in the Crown Poker Room with the following dates:

Day 1a – Friday, October 21st, 7.10pm
Day 1b – Saturday, October 22nd, 12.10pm
Day 2 – Sunday, October 22rd, 12.10pm

QUALIFICATION

There are many ways to qualify for this event and 888Poker have set up a very friendly Aussie schedule.
Step 1 Satellites are operated three times per day at 5.00pm, 7.00p, and 9.00pm (all times are AEST). The Step 1 satellites all have THREE Super Stack Qualifier seat guaranteed.

The Weekly qualifiers offer seat only prizes and operate every Sunday at 8.00pm AEST.

888Poker Melbourne Super Stack Step 1

Buy in: $2.20 (2.00 + 0.20)
Start Stack: 1500
Rebuys: Unlimited to add on break ($2 for T1,500)
Add-On: One add-on available ($2 for T5,000)

888Poker Melbourne Super Stack Qualifier

Buy in: $16.50 (15 +1.50)
Start Stack: 1500
Rebuys: Unlimited to add on break ($15 for T1,500)
Add-On: One add-on available ($15 for T5,000)

There will also be offline Satellites available, offered through Crown Poker Room and 888Poker League.

lol seriously, it looks great, looking forward to trying to qualify.

any word on expected prize pool?

At one of the first GF he says he lets his brother play for him sometimes - so maybe another less famous Warne. He played IPL less than 24 hours ago.

Event today was meant to have an add on and no add on at the break.
I brought about 6 rebuys just for the add.
Short stack and next to no chance!!

Not happy.

wow, thats massive :D :D


i can see this getting a few hundred runners just from crown if it is promoted well enough - it is easily better than most of the JHDS events, maybe even on par with their main, so it should be awesome. then when you add in a few dozen sattys from 888, and it starts to get massive!
