You're a Bunch of Factors

Something wonderful has happened to me, and I felt the need to brag about it.

I'm starting to enjoy bad beats.

They used to enrage me, the really bad or crucial ones staying with me for days. Over time I became less fussed when my 2 pair were no match for a rivered gutshot straight etc.

I played a tourney a few days ago and in a crucial spot, approaching the money - my flopped 2 pair was counterfitted by runner runner 4's.

I was out and it felt........... good.

I thought about it and have realised that i have had a fundamental, philosophical change of thinking....and it is good. It has had no effect on my winning or losing, or bank roll or anything like that - but the bad beat blues have become a sick little thrill.

I have played a few tourneys since, some standard busts, some dirty beats - and the feeling remains.

I hope you all someday achieve this feeling.
