Is anyone else having an issue where if you refresh the main index page, and there's new posts in the Announcements section, it's not showing as their being new posts ???


I'm seeing the 'last post' as being from Bruce prior to todays date (2/5).

If I go to the announcements section itself then it's showing correctly.

Yes, this does happen occasionally, and almost always with the Announcements section.

I wonder how many people don't go there cos they think the last post is from Bruce?

Garth posted about the Berri deepstack tourny in Announcements, but I'm still seeing Bruce as the last person to post in Announcements.

Odd.

I think it's because it's a global announcement.
It doesn't actually belong in the ANNOUNCEMENT section as such, it's set to be visible across all forums.

For a helpdesk person Dave, that really wasn't very helpful.

Anyway, answer is, the posts marked as an "annoucement" appear in ANY section you go, so no matter what, you'll see the unread section.
