Can't post in "announcements"

I'm having trouble posting in the announcements section. Namely, any new thread. I hit post reply, but the page will just reload. Seems to work for everyone else, but not me.

Az, if you go into the "View New Posts" and want to reply to an Announcement, it won't work.
But if you go into ANY topic range via the Board Index, you should be able to reply.
That's how I did it.

Back in the day.. the announcements thread was for announcements only... no discussion. That way threads wouldnt get hijacked as they usually do.
Not sure if David has changed this though.
