Application out of date?

I am attempting to register for the first time for "home games" or online games with 888pl.com.au. I have an 888pl card which I recieved at a live game. When I install and run the application I get the error shown in the screenshot. So I went to 888.com as advised and downloaded the software from there (it seems to be a different application - 888 poker as opposed to Pacific Poker, but whatever). After installing this there does not seem to be any way to register for 888pl home games or link it to my 888pl account.
So I'm just wondering if this is the correct application, or if 888 poker and Pacific Poker are different. If they are different then where can I download the updated version of the application??
TBH the only reason I even bothered with this is to get the free $8 of chips but it really doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle, as I'm getting really confused as to whats going on now.
Anyway, you guys might want to update the link on the site so that it downloads the updated application cos this is really confusing.

Welcome to the forum Homdog,
Make sure you download it from the 888pl site and not the 888 site.
If you did download it from 888, delete and reload from 888pl site.
If all else fails email to
info@888pl.com.au should get you over the line.

Thanks Larx36. Yeah, I did download it from 888pl.com.au and after I installed it showed the error I posted. I'll get in touch with the e-mail address you posted and hopefully they can help me out.
Thanks for the surprisingly quick reply!

Incorrect to the above.
Send us an email homdog, we will need to create you a new account.
There is no way you should have been downloading that old version, can you send me the link to the page you downloaded from please?

Welcome to the forum Homdog.
I'm sure someone will tell you the following but just in case they don't here's some additional advise to find the correct games.
Once you are able to sort out your problems with the correct program you will also need to "check" the "Tournaments" and "Leagues" bars to see the 888PL games.
The rest is up to you as far as what games you want to play by "checking" the ones you want, ie, Freerolls or Buyins assuming you have the funds just like any other site.
Cheers and good luck on the felt

Not having a go - but the ASK THE 888PL section is purely to ask questions of the 888PL that they will look at first.
