State final bad beats - Season 2 2008

Everyone has to of had at least 1 bad beat at the state finals, heres mine...

On the button with about 12k in chips blinds were 400/800 everyone folds around to me i look down at

i just want to take the blinds so i raised to 2400 with only big ans small blind to act, big blinds calls

flop came:

BB checks, i check after him
Turn


i now have the straight, he checks, i bet 1200, he raises to 3000, i push all in he calls and turns over

for 2 pair... and what do u think the effing river was....

that got me on tilt a fair bit, but i just relaxed folded a few hands, ended up making the recombine with 2900 in chips, won the 1st hand to go up to 12k, then won a few more then got knocked out with poket 10s, ended up about 70th i think.... yeah POST UR BAS BEATS!![b][b][/b][/b]

Ive mentioned this elsewhere but i lost half of my 234000 stack when my QQ was beaten by 88. It still hurts. Id like to me more angry but the bloke i lost them to (Ryan Little) is a Freeling boy like myself, so i cant really be angry.

Why be angry, you got your money into the pot when you were a 4 to 1 favourite. You just got unlucky, and luck is a big part of this game, just continue making +EV plays and everything balances out.

Yeah i know. I wasnt really that angry i know id make the same play every single time so i cant be dissapointed.
