You made the right move AK, as you said, Blinds were coming around and you would've been crippled. Pity my attempt didnt come off with the KJ suited. It was Easty who made the first raise with K10, so fair enough. I still cant understand what that other guy was thinking with his 6 5 off. Actually, I do; he wanted to go home. That raises a gripe in that if you want to leave the table, give your damn chips back to the TD and let the rest of us get on with it.

If you really wanna leave, make pre-flop calls for big amounts, then fold on the flop.. even if you hit the nuts

if you want to leave, don't make bad plays and upset players by sucking out and ruining their night.

Simply tell the TD of the night you wish to leave and go home and let the TD handle it. Its a lot easier and respectful to the remaining players.

on the sunday of the deepstack, my bro got knocked out early and decided to go to renmark to play. because i drove, he borrowed my car - he essentially wanted the 10 points for regionals.

he said that when i was knocked out he would just go all in and get busted out and then we could go home.

so when i got knocked out, he started pushing all in every hand.

so an hour later, and at one stage 105K in chips for a 40 runner tourney, my bro ended up finishing 4th

:D

I like going all in UTG short stacked. Can often be better value than waiting till your BB.

Right move.

More money in the pot when you're not in the blinds.

Better equity in the hand.
