Matthew Rochford, you'll enjoy this...

Casino 2/3 table earlier in the night.

We had some indian guy play who was an absolute maniac. He dropped $1400 over 3 hours with some of the craziest play I've ever seen.

Case in point.

I'm BB, haven't played a hand since I sat down 9 hands ago. The maniac sat down 1 hand after me and was already down $300 by the time this hand played out. There is a straddle to $23 by someone playing their last hand before leaving the table. $23 was their odd chips. Maniac re-pops to $80, blind. 1 caller. Comes to me.

I squeeze:
[jc] [js].

I push for $175. I wasn't gonna fold and my money would be in regardless of the flop so I went for it. (The first caller had proved to be very drunk and very erratic, I knew I was ahead for now.)

Both call, maniac has $172 total and the other guy has us both covered.

Cards rolled:
Me: [jc] [js]
Maniac: [8s] [3h]
Drunk: [kc] [qc]

Flop:
[8d 2h 3c]

Wow.....

Turn:
[jd]

Thank fuck for that.....

River:

[6c]

You get the picture. It was bingo central.

Now the real story:

1 hour later, I'm up to $600, maniac is down $1000 but not slowing down. His stack is a touch over $300 after actually winning a hand (against Peter Koroneos, who was a little on tilt after that).

I'm BB. 3 limpers. Maniac shoves blind for $302 from the button. Peter calls for $62 from SB.

I squeeze:
[ac 9c]

OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG. CALL CALL CALL CALL CALL... (I lose all sense when i get this hand. It's a $300 coin-flip I'll take every day of the week and twice on any day that ends in y.

Cards rolled:
Me: [ac 9c]
Maniac: [qd 8d] (My absolute nemesis hand, co-incidently)
Pedro: [kc 7s]

Flop:

[10c 10d 10h]

Turn:

[ks]

River:

[2s]

Pedro takes main for $200, I take the rest ($480).
$480 WITH ACE HIGH.

[ac 9c] is awesome 8-)

I'm still laughing at Peter K going on tilt.

That's just ridiculous! :D
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

theres a few maniacs at the casino

went there last friday night and this guy sat down about 10 hands after me, he was a young guy prob 21-23 with too much money and a thick gold chain (looked a bit suss)

every single hand he went all in blind pre-flop for $200, everyhand, he wouldnt turn his cards over until the end either, he happened to win 5 in a row, he busted A,K twice and a couple of pocket pairs

next hand he pushes again, everyone fold around to me on the big blind and look down at A,Q suited, i call for my $180

Ace hits the board and i take down the lot, took my chips and left, i dont really like to put all my poker to luck but it was pretty easy money
