his flat to my 3bet made me think 77+, AJ+ and not much else.

the problem here, his flop flat call could mean AK/AK, AA or QQ right there, because AQ/AK is pretty much the nuts on that board anyway.

his check turn could still mean he is slow playing. at this point in time, i decided there was 1 of 2 options. the first was to put him all in, and effectively turn my hand into a bluff, because i dont think he would call with QQ there. so i took the other option and checked behind.

on the river, his shoving range is pretty much everything. pocket pairs would bluff here a lot because my turn check probably doesn't mean ace.

so it was a bit of a sucky spot still. i think that i would be good a lot of the time here, but since i didn't have much info, i decided to let it go

I actually think that you are only ahead about 15% of the time, again haven't stoved the range I put villain on. If he is stats are anything to go by, I would doubt he is all in bluffing the river.

I think you are actually dead to his river shove range 99% of the TBQH.

He saw you re-raise an UTG raise pre-flop and with an ace on the flop still called your 3/4 pot bet knowing full well you could very well have AJ/AQ/AK. This makes me think he has A8/A9/A10 type hands but is not confident enough to 3-bet.

He checks the turn - if he had a bigger stack I woulda fired a bet here even though I think he has an ace because it seems he just wants to get to showdown. But with 50% of his stack commited, does he fold an A8/A9/A10 type hand here if you raise to put him all-in? Possibly - but does he fold often enough to make this a profitable play? Not sure TBH.

Clear fold on the river for you benny the cunt. Don't think you could have played this any better.

Just one of th0se nasty hands Im sure youve seen plenty of benny the cunt... ;)
But also think.... alot of people wouldnt be able to fold KK there, just like the AA hand Caleb posted about (on this subject i did manage to lay AA on a K high board to a 3bet pre, and c/r flop... obv what he had imo, but like in so many posts, so many ppl just cant lay them down)
Image ...11.59% of bad beat stories are just misplayed hands ...

If only I had a dollar for everytime I thought, "he has aces" while pressing the call button. I'd be paid up for the next ten WSOP MEs.
