I hate re raises at these limits as they generally mean a strong hand. But everyone plays so bad at these limits that I would have no choice but to get it in against the potential re raise range of villain.

You definitely need more info on villain but with the limited information you have either shove or fold can be deemed the correct play. Do you think you can find better spots to get it in against villain?

when you say "better spots", its a cash game. no such thing really. assuming that villain isn't the type to hit and run, then if you think you have an edge, even a 55% edge, you should take it shouldn't you?

Yes. But do you have an edge in this hand? Can you clearly define his hand range with the information you have? There is no point in saying well this is hand range in this spot so I do have a light equity edge if you are only stating the hand range that gives you that edge.

If the spot is a difficult one and the information you require isn't present at this time is it a good spot to get it in?

yeah fair point garth.

i just think that with the other people in the hand, they aren't full stacks. this usually means you can put them on a much wider range than normal, because lets face it, there has never been a good short stacker at 10c/20c in the history of poker.

One of the flats would probably have your draw crushed anyway. This re-raise screams massive strength.

You lead $2.80, 2 callers, than a re-raise to $7. The only player folding here could be you. The other 2 are valued to call that raise if they are calling the lead bet.

Re-raise is at bare minimum Top/Top with a possible flush draw, which is probably the only hand in his range you are beating. Assuming he isn't spazzing out (a stretch, I know), the only other you'd be ahead of here that might raise is 10's. Everything else has you crushed. This is probably an easier fold than I first assumed, even though you have massive value for at least a triple-up.
