Yeah you needed to be more aggressive pre-flop here.

The 'standard' rule is to make your raise sizes 3 x the big blind + 1 extra big blind for every limper before the action gets to you.

So if every person on a full table called before you were to act on the button then this would mean 6 limpers at 200 each, plus a standard raise of 600 equals around 1800. of course this number can be altered slightly up or down depending on table dynamics and the players you are playing against, but this general rule normally works pretty well.

Further, if this 'standard' raise commits more than half of your stack pre-flop, then you should just go ahead and ship it in, as raising a good proportion of your stack pre flop often leaves you with some tricky post flop situations (like your situation) with a shortish stack.

seems like you had 5300 before the start of this hand, so i personally would have made it 1200 to go i think. as played you made the correct decision, but if you had raised a little larger you may have gotten the A8 to fold (maybe).

I guess thats the hard thing about superturbo poker though is that you almost have to pick one hand to make a stand on. although your small bet sizing meant you could fold and still have some chips left over, i thnk being more aggressive pre flop would have prevented this situation in the first place. even 6 limpers plus the blinds is around 1500 here, so not at all bad even if everybody folded pre flop.
This is probably a situation where a shove all in would have worked though. you are unlikely to get many callers pre-flop, and of course you will have them crushed. And at the kingsford, somebody always calls :D

The question was whats you decision ?

I was quiet comfortable in my decision, we have all folded a had that eventually turned into a winner. the reason why I posted the final result was more to show the outcome, Scott's and benny the cunt's replies are very helpfull and constructive

My point was that I didn't think you would post that question if you hadn't hit a runner runner full house.

But yes, you didn't raise enough pre-flop

Easy fold Gundog.

2 huge shoves = at LEAST 1 flush.

Always sad to see AA turn into rubbish post flop.

P.s. LOL @ tanking in pub freeroll!
May all your pain be champagne!
