lol, I'm not endorsing the play, but you do see it a lot, particularly at this sort of level.

I also messed up the EV calcs because there is a sidepot.

i think you can get rid of some of the low quited kings and queens. maybe Q9s and K9s would shove, but i doubt Q6 would.

with the first flatter, i think you can probably drop 66-88 and ATo as well, if this player was aggressive. if they were passive, then leave them in there. if it was me, i would be shoving that whole range bar the very top of it (JJ-AA, AK), because i dont really want to play AQ or 88 multiway, but i definitely wanna race the short stack with these types of hands.

can you re-run that?

I have no respect for this limp fwiw.

this, if they limp aces there, then good on them, i never do it, and i pay them off if they do. (how about that for a read 1 week out from the GF LOL)

because of that limp though, it makes the range of the caller to the first all in pretty strong.

exactly this - if it wasn't for this limp, I think the TT of Bacon's might be going in, but you're potentially playing TT 4 way, EWWWWW!

Let me have another go at EV calcs lol:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 49.533% 48.76% 00.77% 435840864 6894450.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 50.467% 49.70% 00.77% 444192924 6894450.00 { 88+, ATs+, AJo+ }

EV = Pr(Calls) * EV(Calls) + Pr(Folds) * EV(Folds)

EV(Call) = Main Pot Equity(Call) * Main Pot - 8622 + Side Pot Equity * Side Pot - 14902
= .35 * 26866 - 8622 + .50* 29804 - 14902
= 781 + 0
= 781

EV(Folds) = .5 * 26866 - 8622
= 4811

It is pretty marginal. If your equity on the sidepot drops below 47% then EV(Call) becomes negative. For example if you assign the range below then you EV(Call) is negative:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 49.533% 48.76% 00.77% 435840864 6894450.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 50.467% 49.70% 00.77% 444192924 6894450.00 { 88+, ATs+, AJo+ }

benny the cunt I have been playing around with the ranges you mentioned but on average we have 35% equity on the main pot. We have anywhere between 47% and 56% equity on the sidepot. This is all assuming the UTG folds. If we include him in EV calcs - it can get very nasty because we have two more variables to add:

Pr(UTG calls & SB folds)
Pr(UTG calls & SB calls)

Pr(UTG folds & SB folds)
Pr(UTG folds & SB calls)

interesting

so its pretty much a flip whichever way you look at it.

if you like to gambool, then shove, if you are a pussy, then fold.
