You're a Bunch of Factors

I was playing for skittles at that place on north terrace last night, bought into a 2/3NL game with 60 skittles.

i won a couple ok pots (66 hit a set and payed off), so i had about 147 in skittles at the start of the hand.
about 20 minutes in, i get KK in middle pos, and bet 20, and get 2 other callers i think.

flop comes

A K 8 i think? i bet 20 again, and get 2 callers again. Turn comes 10c, so now there is a straight for someone with QJ, and there is also 2 clubs out there.

even though i thought i was in front, i didn't want anyone calling, so i bet 50. one player folds straight away.

by this stage, my heart was pounding, as the dude was pondering. after a while, he announced raise to 100! i was like crap, crap, crap, but i thought i was still in front, so i called pretty quickly. (i only had 7 skittles left now, so this was it)

river comes no club, i am scared that he has QJ, so i say defeatedly, i only have 7 left, just so he didn't try and bet another 50 or something.

but what he did amazed me HE JUST SHOOK HIS HEAD AND FOLDED TO A FREE CHECK!!!!

i was absolutely stunned. he had obviously had a stone cold bluff, and didn't even wanna put 7 more in the pot. i was so stunned, that i actually still turned them over, thinking it was a showdown - i just couldnt believe it.

so after that, i was well and truly chipped up, and i feel i played some really good poker from then on to get up to 453 in skittles over the next 3 hours or so before my bro's aces got cracked (very unluckily) and his skittles ran out. so 1 more round of the table, and we went home.

i still don't quite know what that guy had, but i don't really care

Looks like he was bluffing though, with the raise. Then he folded because he didn't want you to see his hand - it was that weak.
