Steam out of my ears.

Postby maccatak11 » Tue Jun 24, 2008 10:32 pm

Ok tell me i shouldn't be pissed after this scenario.

Blinds 50/100, 0 ante.

Im dealt [kc] [10d] in late position and i flat call.

Flop comes [kd] [7d] [3h]

Checks around to me, i bet 250. 1 caller

Turn [2s]

I bet 300, that same (lets call them a) poker player calls.

River [2c]

My opponent had only 400 or so left, so i bet that amount.

They call and show [8d] [2h]

I MEAN WHAT THE FLYING FUDGE.

FIRST, TO CALL A 250 RAISE WITH 8 HIGH,

THEN TO CALL A 300 RAISE WITH A PAIR OF TWOS.

THIS PLAYER HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR TWO F**KING SEASONS.

This crippled me for the night.

Later on, AK suited was beaten by QT (which called a 1700 all in)

I got the last spot on the bad beat table, dealt AA, and was beaten by 97 which hit a runner runner straight.

I am contemplating self-harm ;)

Its nice reading someone's else's bad beats story, other than my own :D

He's obviously calling because he had the backdoor flush draw.

Ah yes... B&G region :P

That's quite the bad beat, I'd be steaming too.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Absolutely nothing wrong with the bad beats hand - the guy had 9 7; the 2nd best starting hand you can have behind nines :D
