Another 'Standard' Suckout

I have to say I am never surprised at plays made at poker tables anymore. Another chaser, although it seems he was also trying a bluff and didnt know when to stop. I was probably the player least promising to bluff here as I hadnt showndown a losing hand yet. Ohh but he hit top pair on the turn to go with his 3rd NFD! cant fold that!
Funniest thing was, when I remarked in the chat after the hand 'nice chase' they replied 'ty fish' ROFLMAO!
He'd probably have abused me had not won the hand...

You might say the minraise was too soft, but it was an aggressive table preflop, and I was hoping for a reraise to re-reraise... It worked beautifully earlier in same tourney where I limped UTG with AA and got a reraise and shove before it came back to me and I tripled up (AA v QQ v JJ) hitting my set on the flop. JJ was the initial raiser and I think Id have layed them here to a push and an UTG limp-call of more than my stack, but I won't complain takin his chips to. Plus I dont really think raising to 600 wouldve made too much difference to the outcome.

That's the most standard hand ever.

But seriously, that sucks. Some people just won't fold flush draws.

yeah i got my aces cracked today by someoe calling an all in with the Ah on a 3 hearts board. it happens

seriously though, i probably would hvae shoved the re-raise on the flop instead of calling. you are inviting him to continue with the hand at that point, and as soon as the turn card hits, he is never folding ever.(he was still 31% to win with the river to come, so he had decent equity)

all in all pretty standard, but with the flush draw out there, i am probably 3betting or shipping flop once he re-raised.

Thanks, is the main reason to post here, to get feedback on a hand...

Thats one problem with multitabling, and especially on 888.com (this hand wasn't), u dont get as much time sometimes to really make a good decision, call isn't horrible (most of the time he won't hit) but definitely came to same conclusion as benny the cunt about pushing the flop.

Thats another question though, would it have made any difference?
Players seem to call with equal frequency as they push these kinds of hands....
If he was prepared to put it all in the middle on the turn (which although giving him TP reduced the chance of him hitting the flush, maybe he'd have called a push on the flop? Who knows, but I lean toward a yes, which would just make it that much more irritating in the end :)

And really the only reason Aces are in this hand I posted is cos thats one of the few hands I would have gone with him with (QQ+, JJ marginal), hence seen a showdown...

I would normally push this flop as well, but I don't mind a flat here.

yeah flat is definitely not horrible

and when you say "oh he will do it anyway" that shouldn't change your decision making process in the hand

and you are right, u got your money in good, just put it down to variance, swear at him and move on

Especially, as if he's raising its less likely he is on a draw?

He will do what anyway, push or call one? That was an after thought, not somethin I thinkin during the hand.

and you are right, u got your money in good, just put it down to variance, swear at him and move on
Yeah I did... I follow your sig religously... OK a few times I have got a bit ancy at the tables (IRL or online) but it never lasts more than a few mins at most, or affect my play.

Not only did he not fold, he was raising me on it!
