Villian: Was opening a lot of pots (this being 6max). We had tangled a few times, each time I 3b and took it down OOP postflop, or took small pots IP. He had not stacking off easily. I do not have PT completely installed yet so no stats. Been at the table about an hour and he seemed pretty competent. Anyone else playing any streets differently?

to me it looks like an underset here.

he check raised flop, which could mean just about anything, including sets and semibluff straight draws, but then on the turn and river he continued his aggression into you after you let him know that you weren't going away.

i think you can find a fold there. with the exception of the aces and kings, that Q doesn't change too much. most of the time, if you were already behind, you still are now.

Interesting flop action. His 3-bet is probably where I would fold the hand if it were 9/10 handed with a check-raise.

What hands do you have beat here? Middle and bottom pair and a Q with a smaller kicker or possibly a bluff.

Lots of hands have you beat QJ/QK/QA (pretty likely), Q 8/4 for two pair (somewhat likely), AA KK 88 44 (possible).

Given the call on the flop - you pretty much have to fold on the turn.

The river is interesting - what of the previous range do you beat with a river Q? AA KK but any QJ/QK/QA has you beats as does Q 8/4 and any flopped set.

He is not gonna triple barrell or raise with anything that you have beat so fold.

Pfft, no one plays AA/KK this way. We also lose to Q9 and Q8.

I ruled out 10 J as I don't think you would raise 4xBB pre with 10 J even 6-handed and I don't think you would check-raise with it on the flop as a bluff.

i think i misread it too

ok, so that probably does rule out AA and KK. but adds Q9, Q8, which both beat us as well

i can't really see a hand that triple barrels that we beat (except a bluff of course)
