But seriously im smelling 66 here, or possibly a medium A like A9 or T.

His turn check was probably in a hope you would fire again, but you didn't.

A lot of players at this level also shove vgood hands on the river to make it look like a bluff, so AJ wouldn't suprise me either.

His other options are a medium pair like 77-TT. Your bet on the flop could look like a c-bet, and when you check it back on the turn he may figure you don't have the Ace after all.

So i have narrowed it dowwn to A9-AJ, or 77-TT, although 66 and possibly JJ are also possible.

Either way its a fold here, especially against what appears to be a tight player.
Not ahead of much here, just sigh and move on.

Smells like a slow played set of Aces to me.

And those stats say tight and aggressive, so his 'passive' play here would reak of a monster here, unless you've seen him play his big hands aggressively to, but then this could just be one of those 'mix things up' hands...

Line is fine. Fold this river. I don't see what he calls you on the flop with that isn't some raggy Ace.

Also, raise more preflop after UTG gets a caller.

Now this is a good hand to discuss.

You're data sample of villain is very small though, I would hesitate that we would need to disregard the information supplied.

You don't have any history together? If the answer is no, then my line is to fold the river.
A lot of hands have you beat and there are not many hands that I put in villain's range that you do beat on that river.

That river shove to me looks like two pair as he came along for the ride with a weak ace and has paired both his whole cards, or you could have allowed him to backdoor the flush on you. He could be set mining pre and got what he wanted on that flop, but I am pretty sure he would fire the turn on that board, as it is starting to get scary.

I think in this case if you are willing to check the turn then you have to fold the river.

you can probably guess that i folded.

his flat to my 3bet made me think 77+, AJ+ and not much else.

the problem here, his flop flat call could mean AK/AK, AA or QQ right there, because AQ/AK is pretty much the nuts on that board anyway.

his check turn could still mean he is slow playing. at this point in time, i decided there was 1 of 2 options. the first was to put him all in, and effectively turn my hand into a bluff, because i dont think he would call with QQ there. so i took the other option and checked behind.

on the river, his shoving range is pretty much everything. pocket pairs would bluff here a lot because my turn check probably doesn't mean ace.

so it was a bit of a sucky spot still. i think that i would be good a lot of the time here, but since i didn't have much info, i decided to let it go
