Is there anything i could have done diffently here other than push on the turn over BB's all-in?

Background info:

Dealt about 50 hands and i have played about 10% which is very low for a 6 max table, the reason i was p[laying extremely tight was the player PEZREZ who is the No.1 ranked player on Stars at this SnG level.

I have no probs with his game, its the other two peanuts.

Boy was i mad after this hand!

Rivers rivered.

Isn't that the call you want? TPTK v mid pair?

Other info:

I dont normally raise with A-10 but as i said i had been very, very tight and showed down much better hands with my raises previous.

I know big stack had middle pair and shortstack had overs and a gutshot, but everyone was playing normal poker till this point, did i just get unlucky or should i have stayed away from this hand altogether?

All I gotta say is: WHY CAN'T PEOPLE LEARN TO FOLD???
OK, the raise was what I call min raise, 3xBB so not a huge raise, you want to create some action, and that's nice.
But seriously how is Q8 off and good to call the blind let alone any raise?
I know people will say you'll get paid off by those calls over the long run, but there seems to be more players playing this kind of poker, that there is no "long run".
I feel for ya Todd I really do, I lost half my stack to Q6 off on Tuesday night, with blinds at 200/400, I raise 3k, that's 7.5 times the BB and lost to Q6 off. Who calls that stuff?
When will they learn to fold junk hands???
If anyone needs me, I'll be in the back overdosing on razor blades!
:D

Can't see a shove getting him off the hand.

Why the flat on the flop? I'm interested in the thinking here.

You've priced yourself in to call any other street. The stacks are the problem and shoving on the flop may not scare away villain.

But the flat is what confused me; so your table image says tight, were you also agro or passive in previous hands?

As played you can't do anything, the chips are going in, and they're going in as the favourite.

In an ideal word you either shove that flop, where your still giving excellent value and not really introducing any fold equity, but it's an aggressive move that may make villain reconsider. Or you fold the flop, but with stack sizes and possible ranges this is something I wouldn't be willing to do in an SNG.

I'm with Garth - you gotta shove that flop. Might not work, but has to be done.

Or just stay away from the hand anyway :D

Neither can I. I just think iso shoving that flop is the best play. You gotta commit your chips here, your not folding on later streets.
