villain was 20/14/2.3 after 54 hands. small sample size, but it means he prolly doesn't get out of line too much

i had played a few pots with this guy in the last 10 minutes, including a check-raise river bluff against the same guy the hand before. so there is every likelyhood he wants to play back soon.

Like I said to you on MSN, pretty easy call here.

54 hands is not enough to suggest that villian won't go out of line here with Qx. There are only a small number of hands that beat you, and realistically it should only be three ( not counting variations, 77, 88, QQ). As you said, the board is wet, he could be doing this with any number of heart hands, or straight draws.

Your note on him wanting to play back is excellent, as is your c/r bet sizing. It just looks like a bluff. Ideally, I think you played this hand perfectly, by taking into account your history with villian and the metagame value. So I call here and expect to be ahead a large majority of the time.

Did you show the bluff?

I am often dubious of any aggression shown at this level, especially after a raise/flat preflop.

In saying that your bet sizing is perfect on all streets and I get it in here, and is designed for him to spazz out and spew. If he has flopped a set that's just a cooler, I also wouldnt be suprised if he rolls a monster up and down str8 flush draw or something, but likely range is 66+ AK, AJ, ATs+. You're beating alot of this range so snap it off in this position.

no i didn't show the bluff

the bluff was a mid pair A9 on a Q9x board that flushed on the river, so i am pretty sure i got him off a Q.

turns out he had the monster draw [jh] [9h], so it was flippy flips. but was just wondering what people thought of the check raise, as normally i would jst cbet this.
