3b %?

Seems fine. Pretty wet board to be getting (thin) value from TP so I'd be happy taking it down here.

Well nicely played I think. Had you bet you might've got a fold, but the check made sure that he c-bet and the reraise was good as you probably want to the end the hand right here.

what about the check raise sizing? raising to 9.75 meant i only had 2 left or something like that. i think i just clicked pot button to get to this raise.

should i have just shoved? in hindsight, i think shoving probably looks a lot less scary.

He probably would have expected you to shove if you were bluffing, but seeing as you raised with barerly nothing behind, some people will look at this suspiciously and fold out of fear.

can someone tell me what a 'wet' board means

two of the same suit? or closely connected cards?

both of these

basically, a wet board is a board that is likely to have hit your opponents range pretty hard. since he 3bet preflop, we can usually assume that he will be holding 2 cards 8 or better in the broadest sense, and things like suited connectors and suited aces. (obviously you can put him on a tighter range than this a lot of the time)

so on that board there are plenty of draws. as a result, its generally not a good idea to bluff on this board, especially on the flop, because lots of hands are calling you down.

by contrast, if the same preflop action hand occurred and the board came out [kh] [2c] [4s], then with the exception of the king, that board has likely missed our opponents range completely.

if that was the case, i would definitely not have check raised, as AK is basically the nuts on a board like that, but in the actual board below, it very much isn't
