All that matters in this hand is what range you put the BB on. This is a $3.30, so a lot can be going on here. As has been said on this forum before, putting AK in vs two is kinda eww, but you stand to win such a large sidepot from the BB that its basically HU.

Saying that, you're in a pretty good spot BB/M wise, so no need to start throwing 50+ BB in with Ace King. There are DEFINITELY better spots you can find, and this being the first hand of the table... I think its a safe fold. But you will be ahead a lot of the time.

I am actually folding here. I am deep enough that I don't need to race for my tournament life at this stage.

Granted it's a $3 shove fest and hand ranges of my opponents are wide but I'm definitely not willing to blow a 50+ BB stack to a ridiculous over shove where the best possible outcome is that I am racing.

If I had knowledge on the villain this might change my thought process but even then I don't know if I am willing to race for stacks at this stage of the tournament. M is 20+, you have a 50+ BB stack and there will be heaps of better places to improve your stack.

Sober Caleb agrees.

Drinking Caleb doesn't get a chance to play much. It's not that he thinks he'll win, he just HATES folding.
