Postby AceLosesKing » Mon Oct 19, 2009 6:14 pm

No-Limit Holdem

Blinds: $1/$2

Your stack, $320. Hand: Ad Qc. Villian's stack: $202.

Question:
You're playing in a six-max game online. In this hand, a regular raises to $7 under the gun and you call in middle position. Everyone else folds and you see a flop of KAQr. Your opponent bets $12. What should you do?

a/ Call.
b/ Raise.
c/ Fold.

I think i raise/fold here. I'd raise to about $30, but if he ships it then i think i have to fold. He would shove with nothing other than sets or AK (we can prob discount JT UTG, but it is 6-max).

So yep, i think i raise/fold. Garth/old man Swanky, what are you doing if he shoves our raise? I think if he flatsour raise ill prob get confused and try and get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

Am i the only one who would consider flating? Not saying I would, but depending on what read you have you could lay a trap here. If i raise, I would make it $38.

Was my first instinct, to trap for the turn.

+1 to this, didn't have time to elaborate.

I hate raise folding though.

I think a flat works as well. You do have position and can elaborate on later streets.
