Interesting hand

Blinds 200/400

History with villan: has on 3 occasions bet approx 10% of pot on flop and turn, ~25% on river (or check) and folded to river bet/raise where I suspect draw or low pairs. Has not shown down. Has also pushed all-in instead of value betting river when holding nuts. So read is fairly simple - bigs bets= strong, small is weak.

villan UTG
rcon BU
there is one other stack in the hand playing from SB but they were well short stacked.

villan limps UTG
folded to me on BU with AKs
I raise up to 1200

SB calls
villan calls

pot=400+1200+1200+1200=4000

Flop KQ3

villan shoves for approx 16k

I feel based on body language SB will be calling.

My stack is 24k which would leave me 8k back.

your move?

edit: if you know this played out, please dont post.

rainbow flop?

that is pretty ouch really. tough spot multiway.

would KJ be doing this? probably not.

so if there wasn't 2 of 1 suit on the board, i doubt you are ahead of much at all.

in the heat of the battle, i probably snap call and groan as the villain rolls over KQ

if you think someone else is going to call as well, then it makes a fold easier, but its still a tough spot.

this is actually relatively similar to my hand that i got knocked out on.

in the cold light of day, its a fold, but in the moment, it would be mighty hard to get away from it

I tank/folded after deciding I had only 1200 invested in the pot, and I was confidant I could use my edge to take chips from him in later hands.

SB calls off stack with AJ, and villan rolls KJ. GRRRR!!!

I did proceed to take chips from villan in next 2 hands, but only small change.

Hence my equity question to your earlier - ring game, I'm calling there, but I decided I was off trying to use my "tight" image later, than to call off over 65% of my stack with TP/TK when there were 2 hands that had me crushed and both were well in his range.

Despite the result, I'm exceedingly happy I was able to make that lay-down - just disappointed things didn't roll my way after that.

I call. If he has KQ mutter under your breath. Feels like a weak K/Q/JT wanting to win the pot now (around 5k).
