Button raises to 21k, SB folds. i flat (pot 50k approx)
Flop [jc][6d][6h]
I check, Button bets 42k.
I shove. BB calls.
BB rolls [ad][5d]
Turn [ac]
Some feedback on this would be appreciated.
Would anyone have taken a different line here??

I don't mind the line.
I think I shove pre though as any action on the flop prices in button on a wet board.
Does button have a large opening range in LP? Also it is a short handed tournament.
I like your line, you priced in villain and he made a bad call but it's the call you wanted.

Button called leaving himself 30k behind. So for most of his stack.
He also had raised his three previous buttons. Hadn't showed down any of these hands from memory, but it indicates he prob has a widish range pre, so i was unsure if he would call a pre-flop shove. I would have jammed the flop if it wasn't such a safe board from my point of view.
Meh, i got what i wanted and got outdrawn - pretty standard in hindsight - was a bit annoyed at the time though, would have basically ensured i would go heads up against AK for the bracelet. (I prob would have been spanked - but i do like my chances against anyone heads up
)

I don't think I shove pre too often but I definitely raise. Flatting and then check-raising this flop is good as well nad you just got unlucky.

I play exactly the same way every day of the week. I watched that table from 6-handed onwards so thats what I would've done to extract value.
The only difference is, and I mean no disrespect, I wouldn't have vented the way you did after. You know you made a good play, you got the bad call at 82% to win. What more can you ask for with 2 cards to come?
Trust your play at the time, stop second guessing yourself. You're a better player than that. It doesn't matter in the context of things that you lost that particular hand.
Don't be so results orientated.

its like the WPT last night.
Forget the preflop action, but it was [ad] [td] vs [as][6c] (chip leader by like 600k.....).
Flop [8c] [8s] [8h]
[as][6c] instant "all in"
[ad] [td] took his time, but called. He was able to read that he had the better hand, and a call like that was warranted.
Turn. [6d]
River. cant remember, it didn't help anyone.
Ace 10 had the better hand when he called.
