u have the Ad, which means that flush draws are much less likely.

KJ is a possibility.

Having played a lot of these early I know people like to gamble a lot early in an attempt to double their stack. On the flop the pot is just over 450, 250 seems a little light. I would be betting more in the region of 300-350 especially given the two diamonds.

He is most likely drawing to the flush and/or straight but he could very well have flopped a set. He could also have a Q with a weaker kicker with hands like KQ/JQ.

The only 2 pair he could have flopped given PF raises is Q 10 which is unlikely. AA/KK is also unlikely given he did not reraise pre.

Hard to tell if he has just a drawing hand or a monster and with one guy left to act - I fold.

I suspect he's betting straight/flush draw as he reads you two in the hand as being weak.

250 into 250 is too light for this situation (if pot was 2 way, fine, but not 3 way), but it does now allow you to get away from it.

That all said, its a $2 tournament, so snap call and sigh when he hits.

and just for the record, i don't think its a set, but one slight possibility could be JJ (i've played JJ this way in this spot before ).

The correct answer is indeed 8-9 offsuit and the overbet allin is hoping to hit a J.

Your bet does look weak and perhaps villain is now thinking Q,2 is good here; there are so many hands here that you beat.

Yet there are only four hands that have you beat; QT, Q3, T3 and 33. Yes I know I have left out QQ and TT, I believe that a player who is willing to check raise all in on that flop and overplay whatever hand they have would be re popping with QQ and TT pre. And after thinking about at those levels I have seen some weird shite. So 6 hands out of a fairly large shoving range.

Snap it off.

if you had potted the flop, it prolly would have made your decision easier too.

pretty wet board really, 250 was a bit weak.
