I am glad you are coming here to get advice as you clearly need it. First for someone of your poker experience I would recommend reading some good introductory books like "Poker for Dummies" before trying to read Harrington and Sklansky which you may find a little difficult.

I flat pre-flop raise 90% of the time and reraise 10% of the time. Here, reraise and reraise size is fine given his loose stats. $8.50 is a bit much on the flop TBH. You get the same information from a raise to say $6.75-$7.30.

As played, definitely time to slow down on the turn. Overpairs are definitely calling on the flop as are made sets. Fold the river. He either has a pair over yours or a set. He checked the turn hoping you would fire again. FOLD.

Tough with no reads seems pretty agg, but i dont think he's making a play here, and 78 seems pretty viable, even 55 his limp call pre suggests low pockets in this situation. I think its a tough fold.

remember when we were talking about your stats trishan and we said that you should be raising more? this is one of those times. 3bet this 90% and flat 10% imo.


checking back the turn in this spot is great - you can't really get three streets of value with a hand like this too often, but it is definitely worth 2.

could have 78, and its the only draw that got there, but that should be less likely since you 3bet pre.

could easily be a slow played 99/66/55 here.
