Final table woes

Final table, three players left, blinds are 3k/6k.

I'm UTG with 15k in chips, SB has bout 18-20k, BB is the big stack - she's playing pretty much every hand and flopping something.

I look down and find [kc] [qc].

This is enough, if I fold here I have 40% of my stack in the BB next hand, and pretty much have to call any raise for all my chips. So, I move in.

The SB thinks for a while, and I like this. He's been pretty loose and I'm quite sure if he had even ace rag, or pocket deuces he'd have called by now. He eventually calls, and I'm extatic when he turns up [kh] [3h].

Great, I'm in a really good position to double up here, and be close to heads up play with a reasonable stack.

Anyway, the flop isn't the greatest [6h] [jc] [7h]

So now with 2 cards to come, and him having a flush draw and one live card I've gone from being a big favourite to about even money. I know after this flop I'm going home, this guy has just been that lucky.

Fortunately the turn is a blank, [8s] and I'm a favourite again.

However, the river doesn't cooperate, and is the nasty little [3c]

So I'm busted, and have to take that long walk from the table.
For some reason, if he'd turned a flush I wouldn't have been so upset, but that little 3 on the river was painful.

It was a pretty loose call, and I'm happy he made it, but it wasn't the way I was hoping to leave.

Went allin preflop with A J off (forget the suits so no piccies for you!)

Everyone folded bar the last person? left...who took some time to make a decision....for me that invokes instant thoughts of 'oh my god here we go, a donkey'

He calls (booo), turns over A 4 off (yayyyy) and away we go.

Flop had two clubs and a spade, I double check my cards and I don't have a club - not to worry still in front.

Next card is a [jc] (yayyy) at which point I double check the other guys cards....oh.... he has a club...still not to worry I'm well in front.

Who woulda thunk it, the river card was another club. Surely this stuff just never happens <note the sarcasm>.

I never want to see [4c] again :x

My BB Story is short and simple ... I played bad and got beat ... Then moved to the BB and played bad and got beat again ... I'm then a fortunate recipient of a re-draw so back in I go, only to play bad and get beat again - 3 times in the one night - beat that!!! :D

Final Table heads up
Stacks are pretty even and im only $5k underdog
Blinds are $20k/$40k

Im big blind and havent even looked at my cards when the other player calls all in
I look down take a peek and almost wet myself
[ac] [kc]
I instantly call

He turns over
[as] [9h]

Im looking good here

The flop comes rag rag rag and doesnt help either of us

The turn still nothing

Neither of us has hit nor any draws so it up to the river
Anything but a 9 and the tourney was mine

River card
[9s]

Shattered it was over
The river has bit me again

Final table heads up at the Waterloo
Myself and Lois battled back and forth and after a few aggressive hands i gained a 2/1 chip lead
Dakota dealing has been a nightmare for me as he has predicted and dealt killer hands against me
Could this be my maiden win or is Dakota gonna kill me off again

Im big blind when Lois call all in
I have a peek and spot an almost blank card
[as]
I have a second look and it was truly there.
I pause and move the back card to the front and again have a peek
[ac]
This time i look at both cards together
[as] [ac]
Christmas has come early
My maiden win could only be minutes away

I CALL

But Lois turns over
[ad] [qd]

I look at Dakota and i know im in trouble
Odds are with me but anything can happen

The flop comes rag rag rag with one diamond
Im looking good
Turn rag but its a diamond

This cant be happening
runner runner diamonds could happen
Is Dakota gonna cost me my maiden victory

RIVER
rag
My [as] [ac] held up and my maiden win was accomplished
