Dorset Gardens $5000 FTT tourney

Postby Conspiracy Theorist » Sat May 02, 2009 4:13 pm

I received an SMS from NPL at 8:23pm last night (1/5/9) saying the following:

All players who bring 3 Final Table Tokens to The Dorset Gardens on Sunday will qualify for the $5000 FTT tourney 1pm rego, Unsubscribe msg STOP to 0416905945

Nothing is mentioned regarding where the FTT have to come from (ie, first 5 weeks of the season) so am I correct in assuming that anyone with 3 FTT whether from this season or last will be able to play.

So much for "Ask The NPL."

At least one member of NPL management has been online since I posted this question.

I'm here now.

There is a support email address that will generally get you answers quicker.

In this case with training sessions conducted in SA and both myself and Michael interstate, and with FTT and CBI events conducted over the weekend it was pretty hard to jump onto the forum to see who is asking questions.

If it's urgent then I suggest you send an email to the support address or ask your local TD to contact us via a phone call.

Yes. But still not even a belated answer to the original question.

Hi.

I am sorry for the delayed response; please generally allow 24-48 business hours to get a response from us on the Forum. If you send a question to support.vic@npl.com.au you should have an answer from me within 24 hours.

As for the $5000 FTT event; sadly due to a let down by our IT suppliers we could not get a qualifiers list until too late. Instead of closing this event we opened it up to anyone who has gained 3 Final Table Tokens in the past.

This was a bad move on our part, but sadly it was the only option that we had.

Have I covered your questions?

Surely this was known midweek. You could have put a news article on the main website and sent an sms saying to check it.

See above.

Hi CT

We were, at that stage, under the impression that we were going to be able to get the list by Friday. On Friday night when it was apparent that it was not coming we decided to bite the bullet and send the message out to over 8,000 active members.

I hope this help's
