aaron and i played in an 888pl 6max game once, where we were the only two active and 4 dead stacks.

aaron and i also took turns, and built our 2k stacks up to around 5.5k each.

when the shortest stacks got knocked out though, two stacks that each had around 12K got moved to our table.

we never had the opportunity to build such a stack, so we were definitely at a disadvantage in that case

that is probably why my perspective is different

I guess it depends on the structure, but im quite happy to go an hour into a big tourney and tripple my stack before i even have to make a decision for all my chips.

Dont get me wrong I dont disagree with you. Sometimes I regret ever teaching him the game. Althought when we play cash games I own his wallet.

Took over 500 off him once. Playing connect4 believe it or not. Didnt have the heart to make him pay.
