Missed voting whilst the poll was open but I would like to add my 2cents with a resounding hell yes.
This idea is one of the best I have ever seen. Now you would need to definately make sure you get players that aren't complete and utter useless idiots. However knowing Garth he already has an idea who he wants to be on this council and I believe his choices would be top notch.
Tho can I make the suggestion of actually extending this and including some representatives of venues. At the end of the day as a venue manager I would have concerns that a player council may not have a venues best interests in their mind. Having said that I don't believe that NPL would allow anything to happen that would hurt a venue.
As a side note I would definately put my hand up to be on the council.

I must admit, I am particularly interested due to recent happenings out in the Southern venues.
Please don't ask for details because it isn't my place to say them in this forum, but I really believe that because of this, the council would have been a fantastic thing to have.
