JMACK007 wrote:I was refering to disagreeing on both points. I read your post as singling me out as someone who didn't know what was going on, probably only because you didn't elaborate in your post regarding this point. I will explain that I didn't know the new qualification method simply because it hasn't been a goal of mine this season, which has been more of a chase for the State Leaderboard, as that is something I have never achieved. So you don't need to read too much into the fact that I didn't know the change, and doesn't really reflect on any lack of communication from 888pl, it was my fault for not making it my business to be fully up to speed with the changes...

As far as the AK, EST14:00 instead of EST16:00 would probably be a better start time as it would allow it to finish before venues start, and therefore still give the players that have participated the choice to attend their venue....

Thanks for clarifying Jo.

I don't see a huge problem with the time change for the AK rebuy, but I thought you meant moving the Murrin Mania game as well? which would then limit the number of Home Game point opportunities available during the second block of Home Game time.

Ok guys; data is in.

1.) Since inception, May 25th, we have awarded 4950 bonus points positions, of these; 2,740 players did not rebuy.

2.)The average player who did place in the points AND rebought spent $2.80.

3.) We have ran 330 tournaments of this nature; 181 tournament winners did not re buy.

4.) Overall we have had 46,357 players participate in all of these tournaments of which 8989 re bought.

5.) 2065 unique players participated in these tournaments of which 858 rebought on a regular basis when participating.

Looking at this does seem to say that free roll players are getting rewarded too heavily for paticpating in this game.

1) 2740 players happy to be able to get the points , and 2740 players who may not play these tournaments if it was to be a buy in

2) pretty fair avg i would say

3) 181 players happy to be able to get the available points

4) That is potentially 37,368 players who may not play these tournaments if it was to be a buy in :o (thats a lot of customers to turn away)

5) Unique players ? (not sure what this is Garth , like good , or 1 off players ?)

Interesting figures there Garth , something to ponder on for sure ...
When choosing between the 2 evils , I like to choose the 1 i haven't tried yet !
