Maybe because the venue that would be hosting it needs to actually be available?

Troy avoiding a saturday final is for state not so much regional. The main reason to run on saturday is to not affect regular games that run on other days.

Just going to throw this one out there: Would ther be many objections to a tuesday night regional final?

Ok Matty, fair enough now that we have Sunday and Friday night venues.

I reckon I could get out of footy training for one Tuesday if we had a regional final on that night.

Hey Heath (troy), a little birdy (ben) told me that a certain "small town hotel" you mention in your location, may in fact be the location of some NPL poker in the coming season, possibly starting half way through the season on a sunday evening.

That would be enough to make me make the trip down from the riverland - bus or no bus.

Aww, Having the weekend off Matty?

Also wondering why we're looking at a Saturday final during footy season, when discussed previously it was decided it should be avoided.

Troy I think Matty's got enough problems with 4 venues being unavailable let alone the day. Hell make it a week day I don't care. Finding a venue large enough and prepared to accept the conditions is Matty's major problem and I don't envy him or Darren.

Matty, just out of curiosity. Does it need to be held in the region or are you able to offer it to one of the bigger venues in the metro?????
